RMUTP Welcomes New Zealand Education Representatives and Scholarship Students for Cultural Exchange
On February 6, 2023, Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), welcomed a delegation from Education New Zealand (ENZ), New Zealand Embassy, Thailand. The group was led by Ms. Jaruwan Pongjaruwat, Director of Education, accompanied by 10 New Zealand government scholarship students from the University of Auckland. The visit aimed at fostering cultural exchange and strengthening academic ties between the two nations’ institutions at the Rapeephat Meeting Room, RMUTP Thewet Campus.
During the visit, the scholarship students participated in a Pad Thai cooking demonstration, learning to prepare one of Thailand’s most famous national dishes. The workshop was conducted by Asst. Prof. Chaowalit Oupathak and Ajarn Pratsanee Thubbaiyam from the Faculty of Home Economics Technology at the Chotiwet Campus.
Following the workshop, the delegation visited Wat Devaraj Kunchon Varavihara, a historic royal temple registered as a national monument by the Fine Arts Department. There, they explored the exquisite murals within the ordination hall and visited the Golden Teak Museum located within the temple grounds.
