Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), along with Dr. Prin Boonkanit, Vice President for Administration, Research, and Innovation Development, traveled to New Zealand from May 21–29, 2023. The purpose of the trip was to conduct a study tour and negotiate academic cooperation with leading universities and technological institutes.

During this visit, the executives met with the presidents and administrators of seven prominent educational institutions: 1. The University of Waikato, 2. Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec), 3. Whitireia and WelTec, 4. University of Canterbury, 5. Lincoln University, 6. University of Otago, and 7. Otago Polytechnic. The discussions focused on establishing frameworks for student and staff exchanges, joint research projects, and the potential development of joint international curricula in the future.
