RMUTP Discusses Joint Educational and Research Programs with Jilin International Studies University

On July 30, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Prin Boonkanit, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), along with executives from the Faculty of Liberal Arts, welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teerarat Chapchainai, Head of the Thai Department and International Administration Expert at the School of Oriental Languages, Jilin International Studies University (JISU), China. The meeting took place at the Wang Nang Loeng Meeting Room, RMUTP Phra Nakhon Commercial Campus.

The discussion focused on developing joint research initiatives in several key areas, including:

  • Translation Technology

  • Cross-Cultural Communication Innovation

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Furthermore, both institutions explored academic exchange projects to develop a joint undergraduate curriculum. This initiative aims to facilitate student exchanges between RMUTP’s Applied Thai Language Program and JISU. Currently, six students from JISU are enrolled in a one-semester short-term credit transfer program at RMUTP’s Faculty of Liberal Arts. Both universities expect to increase the number of participating students and expand the scope of exchange programs in the future.
