RMUTP Signs MOU with Nanning Vocational and Technical University (NVTU) to Expand Academic Cooperation in the Digital Era

On June 9, 2025, Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Zhou Wang, President of Nanning Vocational and Technical University (NVTU), P.R. China. The agreement aims to foster sustainable educational and cultural ties that align with the rapid expansion and digital transformation of the 21st century.

The collaboration encompasses a wide range of initiatives, including academic exchange, joint research, specialized training, and the sharing of educational resources to ensure long-term benefits for both institutions. Following the ceremony, President Zhou Wang led the RMUTP executive team on a campus tour, visiting advanced engineering laboratories and smart classrooms. The delegation also had the opportunity to engage with NVTU students currently enrolled in the Applied Thai Language program, further strengthening the cultural bond between the two universities.

Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of RMUTP, stated that the university has maintained a profound and enduring partnership with Nanning Vocational and Technical University (NVTU) since 2012, spanning over 15 years. This collaboration has flourished through faculty and student exchanges, cultural learning activities, and academic training. Currently, a steady stream of Chinese students is enrolled in RMUTP’s Bachelor of Arts program in Applied Thai.

On this occasion, both parties discussed expanding academic cooperation into high-growth sectors, including Electric Vehicles (EV), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Logistics, and Tourism. Dr. Natworapol also extended his sincere congratulations to NVTU for its official elevation to “University” status in 2024—a significant achievement that reflects its recognized potential in human resource development on both national and international levels.

Additionally, RMUTP faculty and staff participated in the “Chinese Language Competency Development in the Digital Era” program from June 8–14, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance the Chinese communication skills of personnel, fostering international collaboration and enabling them to work effectively within the modern global context.
