Dr. Natworapol Rachsiriwatcharabul, President of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP), led a senior executive team on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from September 8–13, 2024. The delegation included:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungarun Porncharoen (Dean, Faculty of Industrial Education)
Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanaphop Sotrayom (Dean, Faculty of Home Economics Technology)

Dr. Suwanna Khemdang and Dr. Nares Kanthawong (Associate Deans, Faculty of Liberal Arts)
The mission’s highlight was the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with Jilin International Studies University (JISU) and Anshan Normal University (ANU). On September 10, the team met with the President of ANU to discuss joint development and visited the campus to exchange educational visions. On September 12, they met with the President of JISU to elevate academic and research cooperation.
Beyond the formal agreements, the partnership with JISU has already yielded results through a student exchange program. A group of Chinese students from JISU participated in a one-month Thai language and culture exchange at RMUTP’s Faculty of Liberal Arts (Sept 16 – Oct 16, 2024), while four Thai students from the Faculty of Liberal Arts were granted the opportunity to study at JISU for one month. These initiatives mark a significant step toward sustainable international networking and global growth.
