RMUTP International College Holds Review Meeting for New "WISE" Program, Aiming to Breed Global "Swift Entrepreneurs" Driven by AI and Innovation
On May 11, 2026, at the Direkrit Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Industrial Education, the International College of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) hosted a curriculum review committee meeting for its newly developed 2026 programs. The initiative aims to support educational expansion and enhance curriculum efficiency. Assistant Professor Dr. Prin Boonkanit, Vice President and Acting Director of the International College, presided over the committee’s operations.
The meeting focused on reviewing two newly established international programs: the Master of Science (M.S.) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in International Innovation for Swift Entrepreneurs, abbreviated as “WISE” (Worldwide Innovation for Swift Entrepreneur). This curriculum is meticulously designed to navigate the volatility and uncertainty of today’s business landscape.
Key Highlights of the WISE Program:
Empowering Solo Entrepreneurs: The program focuses on grooming modern entrepreneurs capable of running agile businesses independently. It emphasizes the integration of technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive business operations, reducing the reliance on a large workforce.
Commercial Innovation-Driven: Shifting the paradigm from traditional “shelf-bound” academic research toward creating commercially viable innovations that generate real economic value.
Flexible Learning: Offering a hybrid learning model (both online and on-site) tailored for working professionals. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on execution and utilizes real-world problems from the private and industrial sectors as research topics.
Global Network: The program boasts collaborations with world-class institutions, including Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Australia, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Harbin Engineering University in China. These partnerships focus on AI, Big Data, and student research exchange programs.
The meeting honored distinguished external experts from the business and industrial sectors, including:
Lieutenant Dr. Panrob Ratchapongsa, Director of the Research Development and Promotion Bureau at the International Institute for Trade and Development (Public Organization), Ministry of Commerce.
Dr. Karn Srisuwan, Managing Director of BPK Management Co., Ltd.
Mr. Anupong Kriangkrailipikorn, CEO of Search Engine Optimization Co., Ltd. and Founder of GoTher.
The experts provided highly valuable feedback for program refinement, recommending the inclusion of essential legal, tax, and accounting knowledge for startups, strategic foresight analysis, and robust networking opportunities to ensure student success.
The committee officially approved the curriculum in principle. The operating team will incorporate the feedback to refine the programs before submitting them to the College Committee, the Academic and Curriculum Driving Committee, the Academic Council, and the University Council for further approval. The program is expected to welcome its inaugural cohort in the near future.
